I provide private, independent and fully personalised midwifery care and birth support for families across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas in your own home. Working outside of the NHS gives me the freedom to offer truly individualised care, with the time and space to listen to what matters to you, answer your questions and help you understand all of your options. Whether you are planning a home birth, hospital birth or elective caesarean, I will advocate for you at every step.

I offer antenatal, birth and postnatal care either as a complete package of care or as standalone appointments, so you can choose the level of support that works best for you. I’ll be available to message whenever you need me – because sometimes you don’t want to wait until your next appointment to ask a question, talk something through or simply hear, “yes, that’s completely normal.”

This is more than a tick-box approach to maternity care or a quick appointment squeezed into a busy clinic. It’s real midwifery care – unrushed, relationship-based and rooted in evidence. Care that takes the time to get to know you, understand what matters to you and make sure you know what you deserve from your maternity care.

I’ll give you the information you need to make informed decisions, help you understand the evidence behind your options and support you to make choices that feel right for you – while always keeping you and your baby safe. No judgement, no pressure and no expectation that you should simply go along with something because “that’s just how it’s done.”

My aim is for you to look back on your experience knowing you were listened to, respected, informed and genuinely cared for. To know that your voice mattered, that you understood your choices and that your care was built around you, not simply a pathway, policy or tick box.
