Join us to celebrate the people, the businesses and the charities across Derbyshire.

The awards are an opportunity to show your appreciation and recognition to the businesses you love!

About the Lots for Tots Awards Night

This will be held on the 11th May 2024 from 7:00pm – 12:30am at the Derby Mickleover Hotel.

Tickets will cost £55 and will include:

  • Red carpet arrival
  • Welcome drink on arrival
  • Pre and post meal entertainment
  • 3 course meal
  • DJ & disco
  • Car parking for all guests attending
  • Auction
  • Discounted accommodation for those wishing to stay.

Tickets will go on sale once the shortlist has been announced. Anyone unable to attend the awards evening in person will be able to nominate up to two people to come in their place. It promises to be a great night of fun, celebration and networking.

We will be raising money for the winning charity on the night. They will receive the proceeds of the auction and 5% of the bar takings.

About the Venue

The Derby Mickleover Hotel offers a venue central Derbyshire. This hotel has the wow factor; guests will be welcomed for a drink an arrival into the large atrium reception area.

The hotel has 99 elegant bedrooms for those wanting to stay over, and access to fabulous leisure facilities – including heated indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna.

Open to any individual activity leader, teacher or coach providing children’s activities operating in Derbyshire.

Open to anyone who specialises in family, new parents, newborn, or pregnancy photography operating in Derbyshire.

Baby class of the year (birth to walking)

Open to any company or organisation with a separate programme specifically for children from birth to walking operating in Derbyshire.

Our Judges

Lots For Tots Awards

Our judges have been specially chosen to perform the tough task of helping to decide the winners for each of our award categories. They will be individually reviewing and scoring finalist submissions against our criteria of each award category.

Do I need to advertise with Lots for Tots to enter the awards?

No, you don’t but you do need to set up an account as the awards nominations and registrations are managed here. If you aren’t already part of Lots for Tots why not download our media pack and look at the different options we have available!

What is the awards timeline?

The awards timeline and key dates can be found here:

Nominations

Opens on 1st January 2024 at midday
Closes on 29th January 2024 at 5pm

Voting

Opens on 30th January 2024 at midday
Closes 29th February 2024 at 5pm

Shortlist announced on the 4th March 2024

Voting reopens 5th March 2024 at midday

Closes on 11th April 2024 at 5pm

Businesses who have been shortlisted must submit their supporting information in by 30th March 2024

Can I nominate myself?

Yes of course!

Can I enter more than one award category?

Yes, as long as you are eligible for an award category you can enter as many categories as you like.

Is there a fee to enter the awards?

No the awards can be entered for free.

I’d love to sponsor a specific award, how do I do this?

Send an email to awards@lotsfortots.co.uk with the details and we can send across prices and check availability.

I’ve made it to the shortlist! What information do you need from my business and when will you need it?

If you have been shortlisted then we will be in touch with you further information needed for the judging. It with be a document which will need completing and sending back to awards@lotsfortots.co.uk this document will then be shared with our judges.

Do I have to attend the awards ceremony to win?

Yes, the awards ceremony will be a fun night to celebrate success. All winners will receive an award on the night with the option to make a speech so it’s definitely attending!  If there are unforeseen circumstances then you can nominate someone to represent you as long as this is before the guest list is finalised.
