Tiddlekicks are football coaching sessions specifically designed for babies, toddlers and pre-school suitable for children aged from 6 months to 5 years, with sessions running right throughout Derbyshire.

Unlike many other football coaching sessions you may have heard of or been part of, Tiddlekicks is very different – based on the fundamentals of football, our aim is to develop each child individually, increasing their level of skills using specially designed equipment in interactive sessions that help to give your child the best start in life.

Friends of the Baby Unit have been supporting the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton Neonatal Unit, who care for premature and sick babies raising around £2 million since being established in 1976.

All monies donated go towards much needed critical equipment for the Neonatal Unit, and we also purchase consumables and seasonal gifts that make the experience of being in the unit just that little more comforting.

We are currently fundraising for a Transport Incubator, which is a self contained, mobile, intensive care unit at the cost of £79,000.

Connected provide free 1-1 and group support for parents throughout pregnancy and early parenthood.  Our trained Perinatal Peer Supporters provide 1-1 support to parents throughout pregnancy, labour and birth, in parent and baby groups, at Dads’ groups and at Derby Royal Hospital.  Our free, drop-in groups across the city for expectant parents, mums, dads and carers run throughout the week.  Every group is facilitated by trained Perinatal Peer Supporters to make you feel welcome.  See below for more details of our community support.

We create pieces that stand the test of time, we often get told that our knitted baby hats have been worn by each new family member which fills my heart with joy. Its not just a business to me, its my passion and I’m so thankful I get to call this my job.
